Little things

Sometimes it’s the little things along the way that you can really see God’s hand in.

The other day as I went to leave work, my car would not start.  Since it is a stick shift, I was able to push start it with the help of a buddy from work.  Once I got it started, I noticed that several things were not working properly, including the A/C, power doors, power windows, etc.  First thing I did when I got home was to pull the fuse panel and check that, but I could not find a fuse that was blown, so I started trying to diagnose it online.  I came across a forum where someone had the exact same issue.  I took the car and my internet findings to my mechanic, and he said he would look into it, but if it was what was mapped out in the print out, then it was going to be quite labor intensive.  I braced myself for the worst, so when he called this morning and told me my car was ready, I asked him how much I owed, he said “nothing.”  When I inquired what he had found the problem to be and how it could cost “nothing”, he told me that it was a 10 amp fuse.  I told him that I thought I had pulled ever single fuse in the car and checked it, he said that I must have missed one.  Praise the Lord for keeping us from a large car repair bill, and for a mechanic that is honest and loves the Lord!!
